Galvorn® F10 Film
Carbon Nanotube Film
**Formerly “Galvorn® Film”
Ultra-Lightweight. Ultra-Flexible. Ribbon-like Form.
Galvorn® F10 Film offers Galvorn’s powerful combination of strength, conductivity, and light weight in a thin, ribbon-like form. Engineered for applications where mass is a critical constraint, this film provides a continuous conductive surface. While traditional metal foils add significant weight and are susceptible to fatigue-cracking, this carbon nanotube film is a more lightweight and durable alternative in EMI shielding, antenna or RF reflectors, and next-generation battery current collectors.
The material’s unique directional alignment provides good tensile strength (0.6 GPa) and exceptional flexibility, allowing it to be wrapped, for example, around wire conductors, or woven and integrated into composites as a conductive layer.
Readily available in the following sizes:
- 1 cm wide has thickness of 20µm ± 5
- 2 cm wide has thickness of 10µm ± 5
Widths up to 4 cm are available by special order.*
Key Benefits
- Exceptional Weight Savings: 96% lighter than copper braids commonly used in EMI shielding.
- Superior Fatigue Resistance: Unlike metal foils that crack or delaminate when creased, this film remains super-flexible and can be wrapped around tight radii without losing conductivity.
- Corrosion-Resistance: As an advanced carbon material, it will not rust, melt, or corrode, ensuring long-term performance in harsh chemical and salt-spray environments.
- Precision Shielding & Connectivity: Provides a continuous surface optimized for high-performance EMI shielding, antennas, and lightweight battery current collectors.
- Seamlessly Integrates into Composite Matrices: Compatible with existing resins, thus offering multifunctional properties like electrical conductivity and thermal management.
- Made in the USA: Produced at our headquarters in Houston, Texas.

Highest Performing CNT Products
"We have tested different CNT yarns and in terms of mechanical properties allowing it to withstand mechanical automation, yours are the best. The multifunctionality is key. We can monitor strength, temperature, curing and strength, and can apply heat. With one material you can do many things, this is very attractive to many companies."
A Research Institution for Aerospace
“It’s amazing. No other material can do what this material does!”
A Major Global Aerospace Company
"Many of our customers were attracted not only to the thermoelectric technology, but also to Galvorn’s unique combination of high-performance properties. We are optimistic about the road ahead with Galvorn, in this first thermoelectric application, but also beyond it. We see the broad market need for a high-performance material like Galvorn that is also good for the environment.”
Hiroki Iijima, Sales Manager at Tokai Rika
"We were able to create a miniaturized, minimally-invasive neuromodulation technology enabled by the high efficiency of charge transfer and high conductivity of Galvorn. Our design makes these types therapies far more accessible for patients living with conditions like epilepsy, depression, and chronic pain."
